Great to be EIGHT!

This handsome little boy has my heart. It could have something to do with the fact that he is my son. In some ways it is unreal to me that he is eight, in others I feel like we have fought to get here.
He is such a sweet, tender boy who continues to withstand the challenges life has thrown at him in his young age. I admire his strength and his desire to follow God. He has chosen to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints this fall and we could not be more proud of him.
Poor kid, has a photographer for a mom that makes him don a full suit and go walk around in the 90 degree weather taking photos. I think he secretly enjoyed it though- I know I enjoyed some one on one time with him.

It's great to be eight, kiddo! We are so proud of you!

The "F" family

Although I miss my home in Washington, I really love living in Idaho because it means we get overnight visits from our Washington friends and family! We love this family and have had fun watching their family grow. We couldn't let this visit go by without grabbing a few updated family photos.

Have you ever seen such adorable kids?!
It was fun giving them a little tour of our place and stopping to take some photos along the way.
The boys were in heaven when they learned they could throw endless rocks in the "river"

This beautiful girl caught a power nap and then was all smiles for photos with her mama!

Thanks "F" family for stopping along the way and staying with us! We loved having you here!

The "V" family sisters

I was able to spend some time with these beautiful sisters the other night! Life gets busy and hectic, especially at their ages. It was a special experience to watch them spend an evening together and see how all of their own individual personalities came out while they were goofing around and having fun with one another.

I'm sure there are good times and bad, but there is nothing like being with your siblings that can bring out uncontrollable laughter!

Thank you to this wonderful family for letting me spend some time with you and capturing some fun moments together. I hope you enjoy them, and I wish you older girls luck as you head out on your next adventures!
