I've discovered that I am more motivated to stop and document the fun moments that my little boy and I have together with photos, if I have a blog to put them on! So, here we go again. My personal little family blog is brienkas.blogspot.com.

Josh and Karlye

I think I've said this before, but one of my favorite parts of portrait photography is getting to celebrate special moments in my friend's, family's and new client's lives. I had the chance to go take some photos of my friend Karlye and her fiancee', Josh. I used to work the evening shift at the hospital with Karlye. Some nights were crazy busy and some nights were really slow. On those nights we would get some time to sit and chat and get to know some of the details of our co-worker's lives. I got to hear lots of stories from their dating life, to the night they got engaged, bought their first house etc. It was fun to actually spend some time with both of them and document their engagment! Congratulations you guys, I'm SO happy for you! :)
