 Exciting news around here! We are in the middle of adding a studio! I am having all kinds of fun playing around with the lights and backdrops. Poor little guy is always my go-to model! He sure makes a cute one though!

Boise Adventures

We have moved to BOISE!! Land of the Trees....coming from Washington, it's left me a little confused at the title;) However, we have found this to be a beautiful place to live. In the few months that we have been here, we have had some adventures. One day, my mother in-law (who is also pretty new to Idaho) and I decided to go looking for pretty barns to take photos of. Naturally, that sounded like fun to me! Here are a couple we found. I'm pretty sure she snapped this photo of the red one!

 Before moving here, I was informed that the winters were pretty mild. I was told we'd see snow but that it's usually only a couple of inches and that it melts off by the end of the day. Snow is a rare occurance in Washington and when it falls, the town shuts down, school is cancelled and the shelves of canned goods and road salt are empty at the grocery store. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating, a little--a little. Still, our warm welcome to November was marked by TEN INCHES of snow with temperatures of 1 degree to follow. Mild? MILD??? I am no homebody, but we did enjoy staying put and  playing in the snow for a few days!
