Sometimes the best pictures of your kids come out in your own backyard. They feel comfortable and secure, free to explore and be themselves. You feel comfortable and familiar with what you have to work with. I think it's fun to experiment with the same location at different times of the year. We have a huge oak tree in our back yard that sheds lots of pretty leaves in the fall. I love the variety of color they bring to the photos.

Boys, boys, boys

This is my first official post on my new blog! I'm excited to share some of these photos from a recent shoot I did of a Dad and his two sons. They have a big open field in their backyard with enough room to run, play and get dirty! Perfect for a photo shoot!

You know there's bound to be a grass fight when you have two brothers and two acres of tall grass to play in!
