"Me do it!"

"Me do it" is a phrase that I hear probably more often than I prefer. I'm convinced that being the mom of a 2 1/2 year old is only training for being a parent of a teenager:) I decided to go with it today though and give him total freedom....when it came to dressing himself. I laid out all the pants, shirts and accesories and said, "Ok, pick what you want to wear!"
He was a little confused at first, but quickly got on board. And this, ladies and gentleman is what my two year old finds stylish and classy! That's right, rainbow striped footie pajamas and a football shirt. I think the rainboots really compliment the hat with dog ears taped on it. :) I have to say, I'm actually pretty impressed that at least the shirt and "bottoms" match. Phew, there is hope!
I'm so glad that I was able to relax and have fun with his 2 1/2 year old photos. After all, this is exactly who he is!

  2. Luke's common phrase is "Yes My T(C)an"...Either he is on board with Obama OR expressing his independence @ 2 y.o. too-either way they sound similar! Glad you are taking advantage of bonding moments; they pack so much personality into such little bodies! Love how he says "You're Welt(c)ome Momma!" any time he does something he thinks I will like:) 'course he's very 2 when it comes to the tantrums as well-ugh! Real question is did Kason keep that outfit on all day? Luke is all about the wardrobe changes from bball shorts to football pants & back to jeans/sweats?!
